Optimum material ratio for improving the performance of cement-mixed soils

The cement-mixed soils technique is an efficient solution to improve the ground geomechanical properties in infrastructures and construction projects. This paper presents a systematic laboratory study investigate optimum water-to-cement ratio existence on unconfined compressive strength. soil compaction controlled during these tests. results showed that maximum strength was not only by porosity but also ratio. indicated range of mobilize between 0.75 1.25 while water content around 15%, quite stable for various cement content.
